Terms of membership
Not yet published. The terms of membership are being prepared with legal advisers and will be published here before the service opens to members. Nobody is asked to agree to them until then. The outline below describes the principles they will follow.
The principles
- Membership is by invitation, for a year at a time, at the published annual fee taken from your balance, and begins when your balance covers it. It includes an Obsidian phone.
- Nothing is bought or booked without your approval. Costs are quoted before they are incurred, and taken from your balance only once you approve the quote.
- Timings are requests. We work towards the time you ask for and tell you honestly what is possible, but third parties are outside our control.
- Lawful requests only. We may decline any request we cannot fulfil lawfully, safely or in good conscience.
- Suppliers' own terms apply to what they provide, such as an airline's conditions of carriage, and we will point these out where they matter.
